Now, we’re looking to add an Associate Wealth Advisor who shares our values, thrives in a client-first environment, and is ready to help us continue to grow.
As an Associate Wealth Advisor at Towerpoint Wealth, you’ll play a critical role in delivering an exceptional client experience, while helping individuals and families build and protect their wealth, coordinate all of their financial affairs, and lead them as they navigate their personal and financial journeys. You’ll serve as both a strategic advisor and a relationship builder – leading financial planning conversations, managing implementation, and ensuring ongoing alignment with our clients’ goals.
Location: 500 Capitol Mall, Suite 2060, Downtown Sacramento, CA
Status: Full-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (occasional evenings/weekends)
Compensation: $70,000 – $100,000 annually (base + performance-based compensation)

- Build strong client relationships through professionalism, responsiveness, and authentic service.
- Conduct initial calls with prospects and support advisors in delivering financial planning recommendations.
- Build and implement: Create and execute custom financial plans using best-in-class technology, tools, and software.
- Execute client service plans and track progress as client goals evolve.
- Support TPW Wealth Advisors in meeting preparation, notetaking, execution, and follow-up.
- Help onboard new clients and assist with investment analysis and account administration.
- Coordinate with operations to handle account openings, transfers, distributions, etc.
- Contribute to estate and tax planning research, white papers, and seminar preparation.
- Keep systems and client data clean, current, and compliant.
- Communicate clearly, consistently, and professionally with clients, teammates, and external partners.
- Maintain strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Follow all regulatory requirements (SEC, FINRA) and internal processes.
- Lead with service: Deliver a client experience rooted in responsiveness, professionalism, and trust.
- Guide the journey: Conduct discovery calls, lead financial planning meetings, and translate client goals into actionable strategies.
- Stay connected: Provide proactive client service through regular updates, tracking progress, and adjusting as circumstances evolve.
- Collaborate across the TPW team: Coordinate with operations and compliance teams on account openings, transfers, distributions, and related tasks.
- Stay organized: Maintain accurate data and process documentation across our systems.
- Communicate clearly: Represent Towerpoint in a consistent, professional manner in all client, team, and external interactions.
- Keep learning and growing: Stay sharp and current on financial planning concepts, investment strategies, and industry trends.
Experience & Credentials:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in financial advisory or wealth management, or any sales-related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
- CFP®, CIMA®, or CFA® certifications preferred, or working towards one of these advanced certifications.
- Active Series 66 license.
- Clean FINRA background check.
- Strong grasp of financial planning and investment principles.
- Confidence in using financial planning software, Microsoft Office, and CRM tools.
- Outstanding communication—written, verbal, and interpersonal.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to simplify complexity.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- A collaborative, proactive mindset and a genuine interest in helping others succeed.
