We are growing, and we are looking for an Associate Wealth Advisor who combines strong financial and wealth planning capability with the discipline, initiative, and accountability required to help expand the firm. This role is ideal for someone who wants to develop into a lead advisor, is comfortable being measured, and understands that trust is built through both service and action.
Position Overview
As an Associate Wealth Advisor at Towerpoint Wealth, you will play a dual role:
Location: 500 Capitol Mall, Suite 2060, Sacramento, CA
Status: Full-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (intermittent evenings/weekends)
Compensation: $70,000 – $100,000 annual base, plus performance-based compensation

As an Associate Wealth Advisor at Towerpoint Wealth, you will play a dual role:
- Delivering an excellent client experience through financial planning, implementation, and ongoing service
- Contributing directly to firm growth by supporting prospect engagement, business development activity, and pipeline creation
Status: Full-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (intermittent evenings/weekends)
Compensation: $70,000 – $100,000 annual base, plus performance-based compensation

- Participate in discovery meetings, financial planning conversations, and review meetings.
- Prepare, implement, and maintain comprehensive financial plans using firm technology.
- Assist with investment analysis, portfolio implementation, and account administration.
- Coordinate account openings, transfers, distributions, and client service requests.
- Maintain accurate, compliant, and well-documented client records.
- Support lead advisors with meeting prep, execution, and follow-up.
- Participate in initial prospect calls and follow-up conversations.
- Assist with onboarding new clients and transitioning relationships smoothly.
- Support firm marketing, educational events, and outreach initiatives.
- Maintain consistent prospect and COI follow-up.
- Track activity and outcomes in the firm CRM.
- Meet clearly defined activity expectations tied to growth initiatives.
- Work closely with operations and compliance teams.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, teammates, and external partners.
- Follow all SEC, FINRA, and internal compliance requirements.
- Represent Towerpoint Wealth with professionalism, integrity, and consistency
- Clients experience responsive, thoughtful, and organized service.
- Advisors trust you to own your responsibilities fully.
- Planning and implementation work is accurate and timely.
- Assigned growth-related activities are executed consistently.
- You are coachable, engaged, and steadily expanding your scope and impact.
Experience & Credentials
- 1+ year in wealth management, financial services, or a sales-related professional role.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- CFP®, CIMA®, or CFA® designation preferred (or actively pursuing).
- Series 66 (or ability to obtain promptly).
- Clean regulatory record.
- Strong foundation in financial planning and investment concepts.
- Comfortable initiating conversations and following up consistently.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
- Coachable and open to feedback.
- Clear communicator who can simplify complexity.
- Bias toward action, not perfection.
- Comfortable being measured and accountable.
This role is not a fit for someone who:
- Wants to focus exclusively on technical planning without client interaction.
- Is uncomfortable with measurable expectations.
- Prefers unstructured environments with minimal accountability.
- Views business development as optional or someone else’s responsibility.
